2016 Silverado Midnight Edition?

Does anyone know if the 2016 Silverado will have a Midnight Edition? I searched and can't seem to find any info on it at all. I'm seriously considering trading in my 15 Sierra for one if they do.

Very nice. I suppose it stands to reason that if they're releasing it for the new 2500, there's a good chance the new 1500 will get it too.

Why does this look like a Canyon package? What in the heck is the IOB radio? 7" monochromatic display?

The only midnight announced so far is the HD one. 1/2 ton for 2016, on WT trim gets the Blackout Edition again for 2016:

There stands a chance for a Midnight still. Remember though, LT Z71 and LTZ Z71 have colored front ends on for 2016.

 

 

Yes they are. They are also doing a Midnight Edition for the 2500HD's. I saw one on the road yesterday that looked brand spanking new; and it had Duratrac 275/65R18's on it.

 

Chevy's website has info on the 1500 Midnight Edition already. There are also plenty of articles out there on the special edition packages for both the 1500 and 2500s.

 

HD Midnight runs a 265/70/18 Duratrac, new size for Goodyear. 1/2 ton midnight runs 265/65/18.

 

Tires, LT265/70R18E AT aggressive tire tread, black wall, Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac. Aggressive tread may result in a higher level of noise while driving. Routine tire rotations are strongly recommended.

FWIW, silverado shows a 'blackout edition' in the 2016 1500 order quide, no 'midnight' yet.

 

2016 2500 silvy does show a midnight edition.
