Anybody get a 1 year subscription to Sirus Xm when you bought your Silverado ?

No, only 3 months when I bought mine which I thought was kinda cheap of GM. I got one year on my Jeep and motorcycle. I am not a huge fan of paying for radio but have renewed at $25 for 6 months twice now. If they will keep giving me that rate then I will keep it, if not I will dump it and listen to SD card/CD's.

If I remember correctly I got 6 months free. Much like tnchevy I have renewed my subscription twice now for 6 months/25 dollars. I make it clear that if the rate changes I'm gone.

I payed out the A$$ for mine, I should have hooked it up through my father, he has my second one on his account and I got it for $100 plus tax Canadian. I need it because I'm a logger and 11 hours in a machine a day I need XM lol

As mentioned above, get an invoice and pay by check. Never give them your credit card number! I always call a week before the contract is up and the last time I called the first guy I talked to wouldn't budge on the price so I told him to let it expire so he transferred me to another person then that one sent me to a third person. Each one I told the to cut it off but they finally gave it to me for the same price I had been paying.

I have had my truck for 1 year and 5 months now. It came with 1 year of XM. They screwed up and I am still getting it for free. A letter came yesterday stating they screwed up and I could get 6 months for $20. I will probably get it for 6 more months to get through the winter.

I got three months free. But then I renew every 6 months at the promo rate. I call and cancel a week before they auto renew me at full price. Then they offer the promo rates to me again for another 6 months. I've had XM for 5 years. Never paid full price.

i did what Bill Luster does, until my radio was replaced for the FM fix. Then when I called them to replace the radio in my account with the new radio ID, they told me to cancel my account because I had a year free trial and I even got a refund for the balance. I called again just before the end of the year - It turns out that the replacement radio had been turned on as a dealer promo unit for some reason. It's now listed on my account and I got a 1 year promo rate including Weather and NavTraffic for ½ price.

I renewed mine this morning for $99 plus the tax and royalty bs they add on total was $114.
