First Leer Trilogy I have seen in the wild. How do you like it? Can you open and close the tailgate without lifting the cover?

Yes. Open the tailgate then release two levers underneath and it folds.

The new one and the old one both look good to me. It seems like Double Cabs owners (like me) are getting more rare each year. From what I hear, Crew Cabs now account for about 70% of truck sales. I specifically wanted a double cab, as I don't have any rug rats to drive around, and I like the longer bed to keep all four tires of my quad on the bed, rather than the tail gate.

I know, but the overall length gets too long for my taste. I park my truck in the garage, so the extra 6" would leave no room between the truck and my work bench.

It's making Chevrolet/GM a lot of money, seem like a lot of people buying double cabs and trading them in for crew cabs 12 months later lol....
