What about these? LTZ projector headlight replicas...

So i need some opinions... I desperately want the oem LTZ Silverado projector headlights for my LT Allstar but dont have the budget to spend $1000+. I found this set on fleabay and the price is right. I have looked it several aftermarket options. 99% of all similar looking headlights use an h1 bulb for low beams. However i contacted this seller and am told that this particular set is supposed to be an oem replacement made to the same specifications has the factory LTZ headlights including using factory size bulbs. What do y'all think?

They look good to me.

May want to check there, they have some oem looking ones but I'm not sure how good they'd be, but they are a lot cheaper than the ones on fleabay.

I bought spyders from them and honestly not liking them. Thinking about those winjets. At any point, they have pretty good shipping and all that, everything came in really well packaged.

I'm looking at the aftermarket/replica headlights as well. I'm trying to go all black on my front end, but the black-bezel headlights on eBay are all flat black - not gloss black (painted). I desperately want to see a picture of those Winjet headlights installed on a truck. So far there are only pictures of the lamps themselves.

Thanks for suggesting those on that link. However they too, like all of the cheaper sets on ebay use H1 fog light bulbs, leading me to believe that the projector itself is small and inadequate. That's why i was looking into the ones i posted. They are supposed to use a h11 full size geadlight bulb, which to me, means its a full size projector. Also plan to do an fx-r retrofit eventually and its important that the housings themselves are big enough to accommodate those 3" projectors. As far as the winjets, they look cool, but i personally dont like aftermarket led strips or halos. Im just looking to go the oem look and performance.

They just say cheap junk all over them!

Well i hope youre wrong... i just ordered them lol. But these arent supposed to be halo'd out aftermarket variations. I just spoke to Obrien19 who has had these for about a year, i believe, and he said the fit and finish is oem quality. These are made to replace broken ltzs in the event of a crash, etc. Guess ill see for myself soon.

I'm sure they'll be fine. Let us know

I seriously hope you didn't pay that for replicas. My buddy bought his for $220 for the set off eBay and they fit great and looked identical to oem. The oem projectors aren't great anyways so you're not losing much there.

Will do! Im pretty stoked, as ive basically been doing an LTZ conversion on my LT. Changed out all mirror caps, door handles, window trim, to chrome. Added LTZ badges. And now with the headlights, it should be a dead ringer for a real LTZ other than the split 60/40 front seat, which is the reason i didnt buy an actual LTZ as i needed the extra seating

Yes i did pay that, but the ones your buddy bought are not these spec. I looked at those $200 ones very hard and contacted the sellers on those. While they look the same to these, Those cheaper ones use an h1 fog light and have smaller depth projectors. These I purchased have a larger depth projector and still use a full size h11 bulb. Which was very important, as i will be doing an fx-r retrofit soon and had to have the appropriate size housings to be able to fit 3" morimoto fx-rs.

If I ever get the cash to buy them I definitely will and post pictures. The chrome ones look good atleast I hope so. The pcitures of the chrome ones aren't the best.

A few months back I bought the h1 projectors because they looked great like a stock ltz... Unfortunately they are garbage. I think the candle in my living room is brighter than the h1 light.

These have been sitting in my garage since I purchased them and just recently decided to do more research in projectors. I opened them up and took some pics of the projector and what not... Id love to retro fit a fxr in there one of these days

I wonder if that's the same bolt pattern as the same projectors spider headlights use. If so TRS has that bracket to bolt in a mini I to its place.

I doubt it... It'll probably need to be completely retrofitted.. What would be the best projector to slap in there?

    • Curious, did anyone ever get a fix for the vibration reported here.   I have a 2024 Silverado with 6.6 duramax.   I’m noting the same vibration resonating up through the steering shaft into the steering wheel.    Best way to describe- like someone is tapping on the steering shaft/components and it’s resonating into the steering wheel.    thanks.
    • Hi friends - first time poster. I have a 2015 sierra Denali with 150k miles, I’m the second owner and she’s given me 75k of great service. I run a pulse AFM disable device. Starting Thursday when I exited the freeway after a short local ride it started idling rough, with an obvious misfire shake and was down on low end power.  I got it home and hooked it up to my scannner and found no codes but in live data a pretty bad misfire on cylinder 5. I replaced the coil, plug and wire with all new OE replacements (Delphi gn10165 coil, acdelco wire and 41-168 plug). It’s still behaving the same way after firing the parts cannon at it.   I know cyl 5 is a non AFM cylinder so I am not thinking this is AFM related but I’m kinda at a loss. injector? Bent pushrod? It’s running too well over 1k rpm to suggest those IMO. Has anyone chase this issue before and what was it? Any suggestions?
    • 2017 Silverado L83 5.3l 6speed transmission Hello, not a new member but havent posted in a while and my old signup info isnt working so had to create a new account. anyways, I have an issue with my truck and hope someone can spread some light on whats happening: -when it goes to 4cyl mode it makes a clunk sound (but not when coasting or going downhill) -when in 4 cyl mode and under load it makes a load pulsating sound (not a tick). -goes away completely when in M5 gear or when plugging in an AFM delete. Im guessing it is one of 2 things but im not convinced of either to be honest. 1. lifter stuck in v8 mode 2. torque converter shudder realistically it doesn't seem like the TC as there is no physical vibration , and it never happens in v8 mode. but maybe? and wouldnt a lifter make a sound whether with load or not? any ideas let me know please. thank you!
    • Which has made me wonder with the various engine failures of a few brands in the last few years, is it sub par materials such as lifters etc causing failures, or bearing clearances on the crank etc or perhaps bad designing of an engine physically or causing too much load on the components due to the hp/torque they can push out of them. Or is the oil viscosity and additive package of current oils or a lack of oil flow by an oil pump not able to supply sufficient oil at idle or under high load at low rpm. Or is it every item I listed that combined together has pushed the limits so far to the left that there is hardly a margin of safety left and add in some fuel dilution and too long of an OCI and premature engine failure is the result ?.
