I doubt it... It'll probably need to be completely retrofitted.. What would be the best projector to slap in there?

Check theretrofitsource.com. they have a pretty good walk thru on what options would fit. Btw, this why i paid the extra $100 for the h11 replacement spec headlights

I knew h1 is basically a fog light bulb and would have poor performance

Yeah like I said, I did zero research before I pulled the trigger, but whatever. Now I have housings that I can mess around with without caring about them. I've gone through the entire hid thread so now I kinda have an idea of what I need. The only thing is, idk if I want to go with hid's... I'd rather just buy a Morimoto projector and slap some halogens in it.. Is that practical?

I mean sure it can be done, but its probably equivalent to putting hids in non-hid projectors. You certainly wont get the most out of them. If you are gonna do all the work and spend the $ on a retrofit, i would go with a set of good hids. You would only be one step away from having an incredible performance lighting system

Keep us posted on these. Ive been running into the same issue looking for Midnight edition ones that done take a H1 bulb.

So then they are specifically designed for hid's.. Makes sense. I just hate hid's as the attract unwanted attention.

I mean the hids that seem to attract attention to me are the ones people put in halogen reflector housings. If done properly, they will look like a upper end stock vehicle that came from the factory with them. The morimoto projectors offer a lens that is designed for hids and has a very sharp cutoff

Wil do! Should have em by midweek

They're just OK at best see below:

You vczn find used OEM for about the same price. I've got eagle eyes tail lights and they are not OEM quality and fit if you are particular about every little gap like I am.

I have a 2014 chev with standard halogen reflectors. I tried hids in them but in order to see properly I was getting flashed all the time, removed hids. is a retrofitted projector better than standard, I do all country driving and looking for something that actually works instead of always driving with my high beams on

I've been running the replicas since March. And have been very happy with them. Here are a couple photos of figment with them. These take the standard H11 bulb size

I'm not 100% sure mine are made by a company called eagle eye I think. I bought them from 1aautos eBay store. One of mine had a condensation issue, Called the company and they sent me a brand new replacement light no questions asked.

are these the lights posted at the beginning of this threat

Well ups just came and brought ONE headlight. Needless to say im pretty pissed, as the ad is clearly supposed to be for 2. Waiting on a response from seller. A couple things so far tho. They Are indeed Eagle Eyes brand. And so for, from initial inspection the one i have looks damn good. Ill know more about fitment when the other side shows up. Also the projector, itself is easily removeable from the rear which will be nice when i do my fxr retrofit. No baking should be required.

Sorry to hear they only brought one. Reminds me of when I ordered my rims, so excited when I came home, only to find out company sent me the wrong ones, took two weeks to get the right ones.
