Load that baby to capacity in the bed with those 22s and they will be FUBAR'ed. This pickup is pointless.

regular Denali and High Country compare to the Platinum. The F150 Limited adds 22's and power running boards, just like this Ultimate. Just my opinion...

Well opinion is one thing but facts are another you failed to mention ford offers if not most are standard: rear heated seats, rear power outlet, rear ac, grab handle pillars both driver and passenger, rear flat floor, seamless rear sliding window, and moonroof. These are just a few things I believe that "ultimate Denali" does not compare to the ford platinum. I am gm fan at heart but I do give it to fords innovation I feel like they are always one step ahead of gm. However I'm not so much on their engine or body design. Ps gm has yet to get that rear tailgate handle painted!!! (Another piece ford offers or standard) Well see if this ultimate" will offer it.

Ford is "ahead" of gm?? You better call up the guys who design the mustang, expedition, navigator, (actually every single Lincoln), and make sure they're aware of that because if I think they forgot the memo.

Up until a couple years ago comparing a mustang to the advancements in the Camaro was laughable - it wasn't until 2011 I think that ford mad a mustang that was quicker through the quarter than a '96 Camaro SS ahahaha

Oh, and on what world does a navigator or expedition come close to matching an escalade or Yukon on pretty much every measure? Caddi cts or Lincoln mkz? One's a legit world class luxury sport sedan and the other is pillowy soft fwd pile of crap.

Ford also never got the memo about large RWD sport sedans making a comeback in the US - they left that to the G8, SS, and dodges 300 and charger.

Want to talk about trucks specifically? Ford REALLY stayed ahead of the curve w/ that sweet ranger they had huh? Too bad they don't make it anymore, last redesign on that was what, '96??

As far a a the F150 goes- being different for the sake of it doesn't mean you're one step ahead of the industry. All set w/ a twin turbo v6 truck

There are things I like that ford offers though don't get me wrong, the new mustang is impressive for the price (wouldn't own one tho), they hit the mark w/ the raptor. If I needed fleet work trucks the ford super duties offer great bang for the buck- but they're not equal to the GM or dodge offerings

Ps I never said anything of ford being ahead in design.

I know all of that too, I just wasn't going to list all that stuff. You also forgot remote tailgate release. I had a 09 F150 Platinum. So for example it also had the power running boards and ventilated/cooled seats way back in 2009. How long did it take GM to add those? Not until 2014 for the ventilated seats and now 2016 finally has power running boards.

This is all I'm simply trying to say:

Ford took the Platinum and then added some 22's and slightly different interior and calls it the Limited. Well actually there was a Limited truck in 2008 before the Platinum came out in 2009.

GM takes the Denali and adds some 22's and not much else and calls it the Ultimate.

Ford had the Limited in the past generations but didn't have it for the new 2015 model, but now they brought it back for 2016. So all I think GM is doing is trying to compete with it and "made up" this Ultimate truck, even though it is still lacking some of the features the F150 has.

And yeah GM is so cheap not to paint the rear tailgate handle, so I had it painted myself.

Exactly my point I just feel they are always behind that's all but they're are in the right track just haven't caught up yet. I didn't mention remote tailgate release because it does come with the Denali ultimate but I know what u meant. Love gm always will but I really do dig competitors innovation. I forgot to mention if mistaken please correct me the ford platinum also comes with 360 camera view. Yea we might not need these things but hey it's the little things that competitors put out that makes me think gm cmon. Oh well keep on truckin everyone.

OH, well actually they had power running boards back in 09, but they were on the yukon denali - maybe they didn't offer them on the sierra denali because it is supposed to be more "rugged" :D
