Hood Protector Double sided tape coming unstuck

Had GM Dealer supply and install my hood protector on my 2016 sierra and the adhesive tape has come off of the hood on the driver half. I searched before posting this but netted no results. Anyone had this issue? It's probably going to be an issue getting it unstuck from the passenger side and i would prefer to provide a solution to the dealer so they don't rip the paint off with the tape on the passenger side. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Best way to take it off is to heat it with a blow dryer. Loosens the glue and should come off easier

And if they damage it removing it then they can pay to repaint it, just throwing that out there
