Would you do Bilsteins again?

I would definitely run Bilsteins again. Only thing I wish I could do is use 3" spindles for the level along with Bilsteins on the stock setting...... I just can't find an aftermarket 20" wheel that looks as good as the wheels I have on. I love the stock but leveled look...

I would absolutely buy again. Just installed the rear shocks this past weekend after having the fronts installed for a month or so.

They ride better than the factory Rancho's and also have a lifetime warranty which is great.

^Clocked - where did you buy your Bilstein's from? So far I've got a price from their distributor in Vancouver that is way higher than down south.

yes, they are great

Can we see some pictures and what are they on, a stock truck or lifted?

Thanks, I know they are the only problem is I don't need a 2 inch lift, I have a 1 inch lift on the front that levels my truck. I carry weight in the back all the time so the 1 inch does it. I talked with someone at King today and he said I would not be able to get them down to 1 inch. So guess I will just keep waiting the Bilstein to release the 6112 if they every do.

Stock, the shocks give it a 2" lift, and you can adjust them to go another inch or so. Mine is adjusted about 2.5 right now.

Looks good, I have the 7-9" Mcgaughy lift kit and was looking to run different shocks and struts but I'm not sure the size that are needed for the extra lift

I know that king offers extended rod ends for lift kits that require and extended length shock.. I'd give them a call and tell them the length you need? I thought that those kits were just drop down brackets that used factory geometry, but maybe not

So the front and rear ended up using new struts/shocks. My only problem is that im not sure the lengths or either.

my guess would be you'd need a 5" extended rod end if you're set a 7"

just a guess though.

Going to bring this back up, for those of you that have the adjustable 5100. What setting are you on now and if you could do it over again what setting would put it on now? Seeing mixed reviews on 3rd vs 4th setting?

Yes, I would like to know why and how the third and fourth settings make for a firmer ride. To begin with, I don't understand how compressing the springs raises the truck! The more you compress, the higher the lift. How does this create lift and impact ride quality?
