Hey guys, so I'm in the market for rims here soon and I've been eyeing up some different fuels and what not but I can't tell if 18s look too small.. I would go 20s but I have maybe 2000 miles on my bfg ko2 so I am trying to avoid buying new tires.. Anyone with 18s please share your pics!

There are many good looking trucks with 18's both stock and aftermarket. You can find pictures of them on similar threads in this forum and other sites. I had a similar question with my last truck and found that the options available for the 17's and 20's were far greater! Selling your current wheels and tires as a package deal could net you a strong contribution to new wheels and tires. I'm suggesting this because you are limiting yourself by finding wheels to fit your tires. Once you have your wheels then pick your tires!

I've seen a few in different sizes I like.. I can't sell the stock rims being I'm in a lease I was just going to keep swapping them to the next truck I would sell my bfgs but I doubt id get close to what they're worth here in Michigan

Nope, if anything 18's look a little big imo. There are more benefits to the 18's and 17's than 20's (looks are personal), smaller wheels have better mpg, better ride, cheaper tires and are better for leaving the pavement. Bigger rims require lower profile tires which start to share too much similarity to cars and SUV's with the big honking rims.

Donstar has a good point if you want to go that route, selling them together (or even separate shouldn't be hard) and will off set the costs a bunch.

I definitely agree with amxguy1970 and I prefer the 17 over the 20. You will still need to return the lease with tires so buying new wheels and tires to keep for future trucks would still work! Or, is it to your advantage to wear out the tires during the lease?

Oh no just wanting a new look I do agree the smaller rims are more beneficial now that I put that into perspective it's easier to just go get some 18s now since I have the tires I was just hoping to see some different 18s from members on here I've Googled the crap out of it I think I decided on the fuel hostage unless someone shows me something nicer

I like 18's myself. 20's look too big, like a city boy truck.

Stock 18" rims with the Ko2's 275/70/18. No issues with a 2" level using Fox 2.0's.

I have 18x9 moto metals. The way I see it, 18's are less wheel to chance screwing up than 20's!

Yea, I was pondering what I wanted to do as well. Definately wanted the Ko2's, just wasn't certain of the rims. My final decision was based on the time I spend on the farm and the amount of mud I wanted to deal with on the side of my truck due to tires sticking out beyond the body. And MOST importantly I haven't hit the lottery yet, otherwise game on, go high go wide. Lol. Cheers.
