I think the valving is stiffer in the 4600 series.

OP: If aren't interested in lifting, my vote is the for Bilstein 4600 series. I have them on the rear of my Sierra and I noticed they ride a little better and control bounce better then the OEM Rancho shocks. Plan to put them upfront eventually. Try a set of 18" tires.

I have the same problem. I have a 2015 Silverado LT2 Z71 with 20" wheel option, but mine is a regular cab and it rides horrible and handles poorly. I tried a 2015 regular cab non z71 with 18" wheels and it rode beautiful and handled great.

My problem is I love my 20" wheels, so should I change the shocks on mine. Tires are set to 33 PSI

If you have the Rancho OEM shocks, I'd recommend changing them out for Kings or Bilstein. I don't have direct experience with other brands.

 

The OEM Rancho shocks are just brutally rough and have poor manners on and off road.

I have Bilstein 5100's on my 2006. They rode a little stiff at first, but now that I have some miles on them they seem to have loosened up a bit. I like how they ride now.

I recommend putting a few bags of sand (~200lbs) in the rear of the bed to load it down a bit. This will definitely soften the suspension.

I've read some where that if you already have a leveling kit, not to install the bilsteins. Is there any truth to this? If so, what should one do having a RC 2.5" level?

Can you give me a link to the shocks for the rear? I am going to order those two first before I do the fronts... I can change those out in my garage.
