I am in Glendale AZ. (NW Phoenix) I am an AZ Native. I was just stating this was the first time I have had a tinted a wind sheild. So I am very curious to see how it does this first summer after doing it.

I definitely know what it is like with out the tint for sure.

Gotcha. Where did you get yours done and do you know the brand of tint? Did they do a good job? Wondering if I should get it done here in Iowa or AZ where they probably do windshields on a more regular basis.

I have a part time employee who does it full time at this other job. I got it done at Arizona Auto Works in Peoria. They are basically behind car dealer row there and do a lot of tinting for the dealerships. right there. Probably 90% of their business is with dealerships.

They did a good job I am happy. They use SunTek Film there. Trust me there is no shortage of places to get tint here.

I've had 70% and currently running the 3m top of the line tint, if I were to do it all again I would save or use the $400 for front windshield only tint on something else. To me it's not worth it, as the dash is still pretty hot after it's been sitting in the sun. But to each their own

Yikes $400 I have the same tint I try to forget how much money i waste. I thought it was like $125 Thanks for reminding me Lol. Another month i would of thought like $75

I just wanted to follow up. The place I went with had 50% for $120. If I wanted to go lighter, all of the sudden we were talking mid $200 to $400 depending on what I wanted. I had second thoughts for a little while but I ended up going with it.

50% over the front.
20% over factory rear tint.
My front sides are already done with 38%.

During the day it's great, I have noticed the interior of the truck doesn't get as hot, and it doesn't get hot as fast as it used to.

I've driven in the dark one time so far. I was surprised that I could still see pretty well. Let's say if my headlights were off, I could still see if someone was crossing a street etc..

So, so far, no regrets. You can still see me in the drivers seat looking in from the front.

I will post pictures soon.

Texas permits clear films on the windshield so I went with Llumar Air Blue 80 and CTX 30 on the other five windows.

We haven't hit really hot temps but I think it has made a difference.
