Back seat tearing at 21k?

This really upset me, my back seat is tearing at the seam! You guys think it could be fixed under warranty? Has anyone had a similar issue with cloth seats? It's a 2014, bought on Nov 28th 2014 with 21k miles.

My front driver seat was tearing at 8k miles. Cloth seats. My dealer replaced it under warranty.

My front drivers seat tore at the seams at 15k. Dealer replaced driver seat upper under warranty.

Sweet! I'll be calling a dealer around here on Monday. Seems kinda common? That's a small let down.

I have over 24,500 miles on mine with cloth seats and haven't had any seat issues, not even mine. Maybe this is another one of those issues where you're either lucky or not lucky.

I had my driver leather seat replaced at 27k

As long as you have less than 36k miles on your truck then they should replace under warranty without any issues.

Common issues. GM had a problem with the 1999-2006 seats now wearing out. This problem has been fixed from 2007 on.

 

Just warranty the issue and move on.
