How do you guys get that good of milage? I have tried, best I can get is 23.5. I don't know how you guys do it.

No it's a DC 5.3 with 3.42 gearing! This was a round trip from home to hunting camp, mostly highway but some backroads also.

I drove pretty normal, took it easy on acceleration and averaged about 65 mph on the highway. My best 400 mi. average is now a little over 25 and lifetime is a little over 20. The truck's MPG seems to actually be getting better!

Thanks! I think so too, my son has been after me to level it and remove the front air dam, but with this king of mileage I think I'll leave it alone for a while! I'm real happy with this truck!

Got 25 on a 100 mile trip the other day. 6.2l 8speed cruise set at 75mph.
