I had just gotten off of I20 onto an expressway when I noticed and took the pic. Speed limit on I20 is 70, 65 on 520. Cops in South Carolina don't play.

My mileage used to always be at 17.7 for city and right at 20 for highway trips....all i can say is, thanks Justin!!

Correct on engine and gears, still early but the mileage improvement seems better than I expected!

My best ever was 19.6 MPG and that was driving around 35 max going through Yellowstone last summer.

 

 

I avg 17 at best driving city, mixed with a little highway. Highway alone for an hour drive I can get 18ish but the speed limit here is 80 and its never really straight, either climbing a mounting or driving around one.

 

 

No idea how anyone is getting 20+ you guys gotta be nursing the hell out of it.

Those 3.08s hate the 33" tires and all the mods as well. I am envious but my excuse is if we line em up not even your precious 6.2s can hang lol

My DIC tells me my best is 9.9L/100 or about 26mpg. Funny how it calculated that the first 300 miles and could never get it again...6.2L

Just traded my 14 SLT CC 5.3 3.42 it had a little over 62k on odometer. I did not get a pic but I did look friday when I was cleaning my stuff out to put in my new 6 Denali truck and Trip B had not been reset for over 50k miles, it was showing an average of 19.1 mpg Trip A had like 3500 miles showing and it was slightly over 20 mpg. I did not baby this truck or hesitate to remote start in winter and summer as I liked, that is a really just a good overall average. I will be interested to see what this 6.2 8 spd 3.23 truck will do on mileage, so far showing a bit over 300 miles on trip A at average 16.7 mpg. it will probbaly take me a few hundred miles to stop stabbing at the gas pedal all the time LOL. This 420 hp 6.2 and the 8spd transmission makes for one heck of a fun ride LOL
