Porter Cable 7424xp Orbital Polisher

Is it worth getting the Porter cable polisher? I usually polish by hand but it this thing makes it easier/faster then with five vehicles to polish/wax I might ask for this for Father's Day. Thanks

I don't have experience with polishers or waxing, but I would say it's worth it if you do it on a regular basis. I do know though that with any polisher you have to keep moving it so you don't get a certain spot too hot. Same basic thing as heat guns.

The 7424 is super easy to work with. Being a DA, you have to really mess up to burn the paint. Tons of YouTube vids. I have one and it's great, just a little slower at correction vs a flex/rupes/rotary.
