dab5577 Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Hey guys - I've had this happen twice now and am curious if I'm the only one. 2015 Denali HD....twice I've started the truck in the garage and put into reverse with the normal truck reaction ... starts to beep parking notice cause I'm close to the garage wall. However, when I back out of the garage the constant beep continues and won't stop until I put the truck in park, shut it off AND open the door. This something anybody has heard of happening? Not too worried about it, just odd. Thanks, -Derrick Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nick17 Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Well working at a GM dealer all the new vehicles have sensors in the bumper which i'm highly guessing that's what you have due to your concern. Do you have a service light on when you back up because those sensors are known to go out they are warrantied only if the dealer does it and i'm not saying that's the cause but it could be a possibility.
dab5577 Posted June 21, 2016 Author Posted June 21, 2016 Haven't received any service lights, but I'll keep an eye on it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Skeld Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 When I have started my truck already close to something a few times I have noticed it upsets the park assist and it shuts down with a "service park assist" message. When I restart it's fine. Seems a bit buggy apparently.

dab5577 Posted June 22, 2016 Author Posted June 22, 2016 Interesting. I have the vibrating seat and mine is also a 2015.5. I do not have the vibrating seat turned on, just the beep. How'd the dealer diagnose the seat? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
