I have a 2016 LTZ cc, I came from 2014 LT. I have a quick question when I plug my phone in there is a ding type sound . How do I turn it off?

I looked in the manual and could not find anything .

I don't think you can shut It off. Just let's you know when your phone is synced with your truck. At least mine does that when it my Bluetooth connects. Correct me if I am wrong.

That is exactly what it is. It is displaying on the dic that your phone just connected to bluetooth. And makes the sync sound.

Must be a '16 (or iPhone) thing? My '15 and my Android don't do that.

Ya, my 2015 GMC Sierra does not make a sound either, just shows up in the display that it is connected. Intriguing...

My 14 didn't but 16 does. It's a semi low chime that lets you know phone is connected

My '14 displayed on the dic that it connected but didn't make a chime. My '16 shows on the dic and makes the chime, so pretty sure it was introduced on the '16. I believe the sound can be turned off via the settings on the touch screen. I will look at lunch.

Where is Audible feedback in the dic? I turned off audible touch feed back in my link settings, but it still makes the gain sound when the Bluetooth or phone is connected by cable. My other one showed it on th screen and the dic but no sound.

If you are looking in the menu of the touch screen that is for the center screen. There is also a menu in the DIC (between the tach and speedo). Look for audio feedback there. I am away from vehicle but can check tomorrow.

Just checked... no audio adjustments for the DIC warnings/notices.
