Have 2015 Silvarado Z71 2 wheel drive. Just wanted to know if anyone ever

experience air blowing hot with all the correct buttons and knobs correct,

but compressor not turning, temp set at 69. Dealer checked freon levels, all correct.

Turn engine off let set and restart cold air blows. This has happened several times.

Shows no codes, dealer cannot determine problem. They say sometime about

ambient temp sensor. Anyone have any ideas. It is hot as hell in Louisiana

without air.

I have a 2015 Tahoe, this happened to me. The service tech determined the AC High Pressure Sensor was faulty. Maybe this is the issue with your 2015 Silverado, have the tech check it out.

Happened to me once this spring, it was in the 60's outside, but wife didn't want the windows down. Vents started blowing hot air. I had to turn the AC down to min to get cool air.

It hasn't happened since then. I'm interested to see if anyone else has determined a solution.

Yes that happened twice in my 2014 SLT occurred immediately upon startup. It apparently had something to do with the computer not starting correctly the truck ran fine but the climate control system was wacked out. Solution was to shut the truck off and restart and the problem disappeared. Some type of electrical gremlin I guess. My dealership checked it out and gave me the old "COULD NOT DUPLICATE PROBLEM" So NO I never got a solution but I am betting that it has happened to a lot of people if you ask around. The 2014 is gone now and this 16 Denali better not be acting out!!!
