15 inch rim on a nbs 04 yukon xl

Do they make thinner calipers to give the 15 inch rim that extra clearance??

Has anyone done this? Pics? Tips?

It's a street princess. No off-roading in it. I've got 16 on it right now, but 15's are literally what I've wanted for years. I'm gonna run 35x12.5r15 I was hoping someone had done it before

15 is an illusion of safe. I grew up with the p-rated water balloons.

16 has plenty, (to this day it is the one of few in any size to have 3400 pound sidewalls)

Anyway, it is hardly noticable when going past 32 inch as 15 to 16 is over ruled by the big sidewalls.

I doubt it. I've never heard of such a thing, and even then they'd probably be hard to find.

Maybe I can find some thinner calipers online somewhere

There's no such thing. All aftermarket ones are basically remanufactured OEM ones. What is it that makes you want 15s so bad? Anything offered in a 15 will be there on 16s too.

My dad had a 96 2500 Suburban and he had American Eagle Alloys on it & the ones I have now are identical. Imo less wheel more tire looks better. But what do I know, I'm just a Mexican red-neck! I'm running 35x12.50r15 General Grabbers red letters. Everyone has different views, if we all liked the same thing the world would be a weird place!

I've and am quite happy with 17's. 15" tires are hard to find up here that are actually useful.

I'd question the safety of a 'thinner caliper', not worth the risk.
