Tar Removal

After driving for nearly 3,300 miles on my vacation this past week with no incidences, I was within 50 miles of home and was forced to drive through fresh tar! Tar splatter all over my new truck!!!!

 

So I stopped at my local dealer and their body shop guys recommended 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner. So I washed the truck, applied the cleaner to a rag (keeping it wet with cleaner), washed the truck again and all the tar has been removed!! Very pleased with this product.

 

I will be waxing the truck today too.

 

So it's a 4-step process, but it seems to have worked very well.

Gonna have to try it; I have some specs of tar here and there as well. Wd40 has worked in the past for me, but not nearly that easy.
