GM dropping the chrome

I had the same issue on my 11, and they fixed them under my warranty. My 16 hasn't started yet thankfully.

Yeah, the dealership took one look and ordered a replacement for me (drivers side only). It just is frightening the lack of quality or quality control on some of the pieces on the truck. Gives me less confidence in the other parts.

I don't know- some colors lend well to chrome, others look better color matched. Personally I like the chrome accents on my blue 2016

I might subdue the front grill a little, but it doesn't bother me all that much.

I had another truck in between these two that had the same running boards, and you could see swirl marks in it from the factory. We also have a new 16 3500 that had a complete steering box failure at 9000 miles. That was fun...

That was my dilemma. I especially liked the darker red but could not see a red bumper. Silver or pepperdust (or grey), which I liked equally as well seemed more appropriate. Silly maybe.
