Another New Texas Member

Hey everyone,

I figured since I have no clue how to work on these newer trucks I'd join and hopefully learn some new tricks!

I just recently upgraded from a 1973 Cheyenne with a 357 and Muncie 4 speed on the tree with a granny low to a 2013 1500 Texas Edition...huge change for me...I have A/C now and I'm SO excited...it gets hot here in Texas.

I'm in the middle of customizing it from a Texas Edition to an Alaskan Edition! Why you ask? Well because I love Alaska and miss is very much so why not customize the truck to fit me better, that's why!

And yes I am a woman and yes I do all my own maintenance on all my vehicles because I've been turning wrenches since I was about 4 years old, I just can't do all the computer stuff that they all have now. It is a question I get all the time so I figured I'd answer it for you now so you're not wondering later!

I'll post pictures of the new truck soon and through all the phases of customizing it and maybe y'all can give me some tips, tricks, and ideas!
