Most likely won't be compatible and will only be available on the new gen. trucks.So far It's only available on the new 2017 Acadia and most 2017 Cadillac sedans/coupes.

My 17 has it. The only apps available are the weather channel, glympse, and OnStar at your service.

No. GM does not update assembled vehicles. What you bought off the lot is what you get unless they say something up front.

Hello, I have a newly purchased 2016 LTZ Silverado with the 8" MyLink. I saw that the 2017 models are starting to arrive with the App Store loaded in the MyLink. I was wondering if GM/Chevy will be providing an update to previous year(s) owners with the MyLink?
