maybe make sure both the hub and the rim surfaces are flat and corrosion free?
I know for both my '04 and '12 3500, which are both duallies, I've had the rear wheel lugs loosen sometimes, after tightening, then driving a bit and then re-torquing them. The fronts also sometimes, but much less common vs the rears.
And if you have the flanged flat face (vs the acorn style) lug nuts, make sure the flange part can spin easily. I spray some fluid film on the outside and work it into the groove until the flange can spin easily, making sure not to get FF on the threads. This seems to have helped with the lugs getting properly torqued, so they stay tight.
Did you need to buy any of the mounting brackets? I spent hours looking for the front facia figures I found it then I joined this forum.. but I’m ordering the upper cover facia now do I need bolts screws nuts ? Anything else?
So I’m looking to swap my 2022 halogen to 2024 led 2500 hd front. I have the grill the headlights - halogen to led 8 to 12 pin wiring harness. I just found the front bumper upper cover facia and I’m looking to see if anyone has a parts list to help me out with. I’m going to need the mounting brackets to install the grill and headlights. I’ve been on some gm parts sites and it’s just horrible trying to figure it out.
Another massive smartphone in the dash! I guess one wasn't enough. Just what I want. 🙄
At this stage GM would have to pay ME to drive anything they've built the past 20 model years. Once was enough for me. Learned my lesson.
