What size tire??

My Toyo 33's were $1100 balanced and installed, without warranty. New from Firestone. Great tires, no regrets there.

Love to see where you got those. Here is the lowest price around me

$490 per Toyo 33x12.5 I can actually get 5% better because I did some work for a tire company and they give me a -5% price match so $465 before balance, TPMS and install.

I also do not see how in the eff you bought Toyo tires from Firestone considering they are competing manufacturers and do not sell each others products. Are you talking about Firestone Destination AT? Your statement is confusing.

I got them from Firestone. I had them ship them in since they didn't keep the tire in stock. I didn't get the wide 12.5's though. I got the 275/60R20 Open Country AT2. They were the lightest 33" all-terrain tire I could find.

Firestone does not make Toyo period. They are a manufacturer not a retailer. That is like saying you walked into McDonalds and bought a Whopper. http://www.firestonetire.com/catalog

And those do have a warranty FYI its from the manufacturer NOT the retailer. :

Toyo Tires warranty program - OPEN COUNTRY A/T II

Millenium Warranty

  • 5 year workmanship and materials warranty

Wear Out Warranty

  • 100,000 km warranty on P-metric sizes.
  • 80,000 km warranty on LT and Flotation sizes.*

Your welcome for that, but clearly you do not know your tires, still a good choice and what I plan to run next spring.

No where did I say they "made" Toyo tires. But they do sell them. I'll post a pic of the receipt too.

Maybe Canada is different, but not uncommon here for a tire store to sell competing brands. Also, prices are actually quite a bit lower than what you are seeing. Not unusual to get Michelin tires in our sizes for $200-$225 each.

When I said I didn't get the warranty, I was referring to the roadside hazard warranty that Firestone offers for all of the tires they sell, including Toyo Tires...

$490 CAD is $370 USD. Even then, our tire prices are lower than that $370 converted price. I can get 285/65/18 Toyo Open Country RT tires installed at a Mavis Tire in NY state for $873 USD.

Here is some tires available in 275/65/18 size from Mavis: http://www.mavistire.com/productcart/pc/_shopbysize.asp

Jesus dude, do I not have enough proof? This is their page for their Toyo advertisement. http://www.firestonecompleteautocare.com/tires/brands/toyo/

I suggest you call Firestone so you can hear it for yourself. As if a picture of my receipt isn't proof enough.

I do believe you bought a metric size for that, was probably on some promotion. Just saying it was odd I cannot confirm it online is all as it only shows 2 Toyo neither are Open Country. Probably just a shitty site.

Let me know if you want to buy me a set and drive em up here. Like the other guys I will trade maple syrup and hockey sticks.

Apparently Firestone made a deal with Toyo. Here are some links about how and when:

I found out through the Toyo website that Firestone sold Toyo. Check it out man.

I did see on Amazon that the 33x12.5R20 M/T's are $355 each with free shipping. I'm not sure how far the free shipping goes though.

Lower 48 states most likely. Gag I know living up north it a royal PITA for ordering anything. You have to be doubly careful when ordering wheels / tires online too from what I was told. A lot of places will place any shipping damage and liability on the shipper. ie) you would have to wait for USPS etc to file and process the claim and seller will just wash their hands of it while you are stuck waiting for a month or 2. And if they do not fit, you may be facing a 20-30% restock fee which will hurt.

Bummer. I'd say it's best to drive up to a place that already has them, or can order them for you. Firestone didn't charge me to get them shipped in. I called and asked if he had the 275/60R20 size Toyo A/T2 and he said yes, but he had to order it. He gave me appointment time and that was that lol.

OP, sorry for the thread jack.
