Ride quality lift kit

ok so I'm about to buy me a new 2016 Silverado and I wana throw on a 6" lift kit. My last truck has a 4" lift kit on it from rough country. It's a 2004 Silverado if y'all are wundering and I have had ntn but problems since I put it on.plus the ride sucks it's like drive a tractor. So I really don't wanna go back with them. Anyways I was thinking on getting a lift kit from ready lift are rancho (Ik they have great shocks) but wasn't shore how great the ride will be. I wana get it as close to a factory ride as possible. I do drive off road quite often but down here in Louisiana it is not really harsh just muddy ?

Most kits that use spacers to lift the front shocks are going to ride close to factory as you can get. I have heard nothing but good things about BDS but you pay a hefty price,

 

Your more popular lifts are going to be BDS, Zone, Fabtech, RC, and a few others. Havent heard much about the Rancho lifts but as lomg as they back the product with a good warranty i see no problems

Thank you. Price does not bother me. I don't mind paying more for better quality parts. I've heard good things about BDS and fabtech. Do you know if any of these kits come with a drive shaft extender are will I need one?

Fir a really detailed look download the installation instructions forneach lift and see what you think. I know on some ot requires cutting of the crossmember so you are not able to return 100% to stock and some dont req any cutting at all

also go with some deaver or atlas leaf springs for the rear as opposed to a block/ add a leaf kit.

I ran a ready lift kit, rode very rough. Running a Mcgauphy 7-9 now, rides great. I was on the fence for quite some time in which lift to go with, the wheels and tires are what pushed me toward the Mcgauphy kit, a 6"BDS wouldn't clear the wheels I picked out.

I thought about McGaughy lift kit but it is just to high for me. My passengers don't like to climb lol.

Just had a BDS 6 inch with Fox front and rear put on mine. Ride quality is way better then stock. I bought mine locally from a BDS dealer. BDS will ship to your local dealer for free. (Its expensive if they ship direct to you) I also was able to get 15% off instead of ordering online and paying full price. (The place i got mine from said any BDS local dealer should give you atleast 10% off) If you do BDS definitely look into going to a local dealer. The lift did not come with driveshaft extenders but it did come with front axle spacers.

That came out looking sweet! Awsome job on the truck. I love BDS lift kits because they use fox shocks. (Fox shocks are just awsome.) But I think there prices are crazy high for so little. But that's just me. Now I'm not turning them down i will have to do some research to see if we have a dealer in the area for them Ik we don't have much around here.

What do you guys think about procomp are fabtech. Ik the car dealers around here use those two company's but I never got a chance to drive one of those lifted trucks.

I'm with tjn54321, BDS is awesome. I got the 4" kit with fox coilovers and it's a sweet ride. Excellent quality lift

Yes they are, good eye [emoji1303] they are on factory (custom powder coated) 20" wheels and they do not rub and did not require trimming
