Hello Dan,

I hope you’re enjoying your new GMC Sierra Denali to its fullest! However, I’m saddened to hear about this leaking power side step. This is something we don’t like to hear from our customers, especially so early into your vehicle ownership. If you haven’t address this with your dealer, please send us a private message including your VIN. Once we have this information, we can reach out to them on your behalf and provide an additional layer of support.

We’re looking forward to your response.

4000 miles and it's dripping on my driveway. Anyone else?

That would be my luck if I got a set. Got to be careful around those BFR'sCLw4leqUMAAsySz_490983_ver1.0_1280_720.j

Thanks GM, I took it in to the dealer and they cleaned it up, so far I don't have and more dripping.

I'm having an issue with both of my steps leaking some type of hydraulic oil. I've only had the truck 7 months and they have been leaking for at least 3. The dealer I purchased the truck from (Mark Christopher in Ontario) can't provide me with a loaner vehicle and this is not acceptable considering this is my only vehicle. I expect better service after buying a premium vehicle.

Same problem of oil leaking from drivers side power step actuator.  Truck is a 2017 GMC Sierra Denali with 39,500 miles.

Same issue here on my 2019 Denali leaking from driver rear power step actuator.  Took it to the dealer and they said these don’t have fluid in them. They claimed my leaking was from them lubing them up during oil change a few weeks prior.  They cleaned it up and I said I would keep an eye on it.  Here we are a few days later and still leaking.
