2007 GMC Sierra Denali Stance

I am looking for some information on lowering my 2007 gmc sierra denali. With the research that I have done, I am seeing that as low as I should go is 3" in the front and 5" in the back in order to keep my front pinions from binding since it is an awd. I think that the 3/5 drop would be suitable to give the truck a better stance since it is a daily driver. What components/brand should I use to help retain the current ride? I have also considered going to a 22" wheel to help fill those larger fender wells. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
