First gas truck, power help?

I know this truck will never compare to the trucks I've built in the past, and also because I'm not going to dump money into this truck like I have others lol. But for what this truck is I do really like it. But again I wouldn't mind another 30-60hp on tap. I don't tow 13,000lbs every day like I used to so a half ton is all I need for the time being until I get my other truck project done.

 

Then do this. Long tube headers, catless y pipe, and 3 inch exhaust with any choice of muffler out to the back. Complete this with a custom dyno tune and an airaid MIT (intake) and this will net you a 30-60hp gain you are looking for.

Reading your post, maybe if you are back in school and money is tight you should just view it as reliable transportation until such time you can afford what you really want?

 

Fact is that money spent on mods is money down the rat hole when it comes time to sell.

I say just leave it alone and dont dump any money into it, it's a daily driver....

3.08 or 3.42? 3.42 makes a big difference and shouldn't be too hard to swap.
