Smooth 4WD

So I put my truck in 4hi today and I can not believe how smooth and quiet it is. Coming from an 06 Silverado you could always feel a small vibration in the floor in 4hi. I'm just amazed how great my new truck is in 4WD. I actually checked the info page to see if front axels where green. And that was at about 50-55 mph with 0 vibration.

Careful, you are going to tick off the thousands of people and half of the vehicles that have the vibration in just regular driving (it isn't that high, its just a large handful of people like maybe a few hundred and a decimal percentage really).

Glad it is so smooth, nice to hear some positive driving characteristics rather than just rogue complaints.

lol...I do feel for the people who have had bad experiences with their trucks. But I have no complaints about mine and am really happy with.

Same hear, but it seems that the complainers who are unhappy dont want to hear about how much good luck we have had, only the opinions of those who share in their unhappiness and disdain. Misery loves company.

Just wondering if you can here the 4x4 with windows down? I use mine quite a bit but normally have the windows up from the mud in the pastures but I went to West Texas on vacation and use the 4x4 a lot on some off roading in the hills and mountains and had the windows down and my 4x4 was kinda loud. Not like there is a problem but it sounded like the ones in the older trucks. I have a 3500 dually and never heard it that loud and its a 2011. Just wondering? Maybe its from the lift. My transfer case has been dropped and my angles look fine so just figured it was normal until you said how quiet yours is. It pulled fine up the mountains and never any clunking or slipping like it has an issue just louder than I expected on the new trucks. With windows up I cant hear it or feel it but with window down and going up steep grades I sure did.

Running in 4hi on pavement, especially at highway speeds isn't great for it. Glad it's smooth though.

I agree 100%. I was just making sure it was all good before it starts snowing. I just did it for about 500 yards or so, on a straight a way. Then back to 2hi.
