Call a different dealer or swing by in person to the selling dealership.

Guessing your leak may be through the 3rd brake light. Though have not seen many mention that previously.

If its that new, you might be in your required-by-law return period. Threaten to return it, and I bet the dealership will sing a different tune.

At the very least, go yell at the salesman and tell him you'll never buy another from him and tell all your friends to avoid him if he sells low quality vehicles and his service dept can't back up his sales. I am willing to bet he goes and finds the service manager.

I would tell them you want a different truck. I would have a hard time taking a truck that leaked that bad. If they won't do that,I would take it back to them tell them give you a loner and you don't want your truck back until it fixed perfect!

An older Silverado? You can bet if it was me they would be giving me a truck equal to what I just bought. You would think they would at least put it inside considering it leaks that bad.

Seems to me if they were any kind of dealership at all they would jump on that like a hobo on a hot cheese sandwich. To let it sit thru another rain storm is absurd it being New.

your headliner will never be the same unless it gets replaced. If they clean it, stains will still be visible from the water damage.
