Need Help - Slip Yoke - 2011 Silverado

Hey Guys:

I have a clunk on acceleration that, based on research appears to be a slip yoke issue (needs grease). I have a couple questions and was curious if some of you could help me:

1) What great is the "go to" grease on the forum? I don't mind price, would rather something last a while longer.

2) Does anyone have a write-up/how-to on this? I know this is a pretty simple fix, but I want to make sure I don't miss anything. All help is appreciated!!

Off the shelf grease would probably be Mobil 1...they are one of the few synthetic greases you can find at almost every parts house.

Geeze. Still slip yoke issues!? Back in the day before the GMT-900s came out the biggest complaint on here was the slip yoke clunking on the GMT-800s, and of course the solution was a nickle plated slip yoke or to grease the hell out of the thing as already mentioned above. I thought GM went to a nickle plated slip yoke for the GMT-900s..
