Z71 Rancho's are terrible

Actually the stock Rancho shocks are not even made by Rancho.

 

One of my projects I the coming months is to change out all of the shocks/struts on my truck.

Tested every puppy on the lot prior to purchase... LT/LTZ71/LTZ....short, standard, long beds......and the firmer stuffing in the leather seating upgrade and the length of the wheelbase had more effect than the native shocks. Seems ride depends upon the feel in one's a$$, not the surface of the road. The suspension can be bouncing around like a hula dancer with St. Vitus; if my a$$ says it's a smooth ride.....it's a smooth ride.
