Looks good! I was thinking about getting my roof done too when I had the rally stripes added to my hood and tailgate, but figured what's the point when no one will see it. I like how yours turned out though!

Thx... Since I knew I was going to do a 3/5 Drop, I decided to wrap the roof...

Ah, that makes sense. I would wrap the roof just to keep my OCD at bay haha. I like the carbon fibre look though; should have done mu stripes in it. Oh well. Matte black will have to do!

I opted not to get the color match bumpers/grill, is that called LT-2? I badly wanted it though, I asked a local vinyl shop how much to just wrap the bumpers, they want 500$ Canadian, seems pretty high though considering that they aren't even doing the grill.. What do you guys think?

I had a local vinyl shop install rally stripes on the hood and tail gate of my truck, and it was $400. Doing both bumpers for $500 sounds not too bad.

P.s. - Glad to see another fellow BC'er on the forum!

Good to know they aren't gouging me, We have a 3m vinyl printer at work, I was considering buying a roll of colored vinyl and using the 3m layout and machine to cut it out. I know for sure it will have the front bumper measurements in it.

Where abouts in Bc? Im up in Pg

Ya I'd say you're getting a good deal. I should inquire with my local shop how much the bumpers would be.

I'm in the Vancouver area; go up to Prince George quite a bit for work though. Love it up there!

was planning on getting bumpers and grill surround wrapped until I heard itll only last 3-4yrs. With rock chips and everything else, its just not durable enough for me I dont believe. Ill get everything painted or powdercoated. maybe some xpel and modesta ontop

I want to wrap my bumpers but they don't make Slate Grey Metallic vinyl.

The rocks and other crap flying at my truck while I'm driving is deterring me from wrapping by bumper too. Seen some good looking Linex-coated bumpers; might be an option.

I'm going to just wrap mine myself. If you're somewhat handy you can easily do it too. These bumpers aren't complex like freaking mclaren or something

If I can buy color match vinyl, I can cut the exact pattern with our 3m printer. It's just a matter of buying the vinyl and how close a match I can find

Yes from finding a match can be a challenge. Probably wouldn't wanna apply it like that but that's just me.

You will need to find a shop that has the capabilities to print their own vinyl. They could use the Pantone color wheel to match the paint.

As for rock chips, that's one of the benefits of outdoor vinyl... It serves the same purpose as the clear or invisible vinyl applications.

I just order some vinyl and a wrapping tool kit for about $80... once they come in, I'mma take a stab at wrapping my grill bars myself. I'll post the pics on my build post when I'm done.
