It was just the early build All-Terrains that didn't have the painted steps, but those built after November 18th, 2013 did have the steps.

I think they had a bunch of stock on 2013 bumpers they dumped in the 2014's I was looking at a 2014 crew cab back then and it was the same way,,, Maybe they only sent the old stock to Canada ha ha.

I did the same thing, ran it like that for a few months but the lights are a bit dim, and reverse lights are completely useless, even w/ 4w super bright leds.

Mine are still easily noticeable, even had cops right behind me and no problems.

Ok, so back at it! We had some snow up here in Boston so this got put on the back burner for a few days.

Anyway, I've just finished dremmeling the second light housing. The trick here is to keep the cutoff wheel right on the inside edge of the outer light lense as it's already black so if you screw up a bit it's not noticeable, (see pic), if you go too far the other way, you'll hit the chrome. Also be careful of the two plastic screw posts on the corner.

I found that you don't need to cut too deep or all the way through the plastic. Just take a flat head after a aggressive score and pry around the edges to pop the remaining material.

All the remaining melted plastic will be sanded down before final reassembly w/ some epoxy.

I've got the 1st set of chrome pieces wet sanded (400g) and ready for paint. Hopefully this goes well so I can close these up today!

How confident are you that expoxy will give you a leak proof light?
