Anyone Light Up Their Center Console????

I have a 16 sierra with the center console and at night I feel like I'm always fumbling around to grab whatever's in there.

 

I know there is a dim LED that shines down on it from the headliner but it's too dim and pressing the main dome light is simply too hard for my frail fingers. Lol

 

So has anyone installed some type of matching red LED in the console hole to keep it illuminated but classy.

 

Not looking for bright, ricey floor lighting here.

@Mike1220 comes to my mind, he's put LED lighting in about every nook and cranny.

Don't go all high tech on this .

 

I just have a small LED flash light in the tray.

 

Then you can use it for other things like finding the crap you dropped under the seat ha ha.

Same here lol, I have a small flashlight made to charge in a cig lighter socket, keep it plugged into the one inside the console.

Man, I have no idea, it was some free schwag I got at a conference I attended for work lol. It's only about an inch or so tall, it barely extends past the lip of the socket. Here's something similar to what I've got:

Did GM eliminate the console light?? I have a 2015 with the floor console and when I lift the lid there is an LED light just under the latch area that shines down into the bottom of the console. It does a great job!

Maybe that's only in the whole center console (bucket seats) options? Like. The jumpseat/bench seat doesn't have any lights in the center console area.

I don't have any trouble seeing in there. Although I don't stick a lot in there. I keep most everything in under the lid and I have the organizer tray to keep me organized with the small stuff..

I got the organizer tray too. Love it. I just wanted a subtle small red led to wire that faces down into the huge hole

Oh okay. I don't usually have problems seeing in there but when I do I just use the overhead lights.
