Interior air cabin filter?

Do these trucks come with one?

I noticed over the past couple months I've had my 2017 that I smell exterior smells way too easily in this truck.

If a car even two or three cars in front of me has stinky exhaust, I smell it.

I can be driving down the road and pass a gardener cutting the grass of someone's yard or in the median of the road and I smell fresh cut grass in my truck.

Everytime I look down to see if I have on the recirculate button on and it does, but it seems it's still very easily taking in smells from the outside.

So I began to think, maybe this truck doesn't have an interior air cabin filter from the factory?

Anybody know? And if so, any DIY video or pictures as to where or how to install it?

Thanks

It does. Behind the glovebox. It's just a paper filter it's not going to block odors. You'd have to replace it with a filter than includes activated carbon to have any sort of effect on odor

I remember reading on here something about the recirculating air door does not close 100%. Something to do with the humidity inside the truck. So you will always get orders inside even with the recirculate button on.

Look at K&N they make a washable version for many models. Have one in our sienna and my Camaro

I think that was changed during the 2015 year due to owner complaining of dust infiltration into the cabin from the recir door staying open all the time. Now if the recir door is commanded shut then it stays shut

Reusable filter is okay and everything, but it's not going to block odors like OP was asking about.

Well I just installed the K&N cabin air filter 1/2 hr ago.

Will see how it does in the coming days as I drive around.

Will report back then.
