Rc 2.5 level after install question

Hey so I just installed the 2.5 level lift and swapped the 2" blocks that come with the kit for their 3". I took some after fender measurements and the front now sits at roughly 39.5" equally on both sides, but the rear is what's bothering me. I sit a solid inch higher on the passenger side at almost 42" while the driver side rear is at 41". I've checked the blocks measurements and rechecked everything on the rear and measured the heights in level surface. I was only able to get 41.5 on both like 2 measurements out of 20. Box lines look even so I'm not sure if I'm plagued with the Chevy lean as I swear before the rear blocks install when I measured it was even on both sides at just over 39". I can't figure out what is up. Did I just not notice this due to the stock height and I'm noticing it now that it's up? Pins and leafs on the blocks all look perfect and tapers on them are the right way. I'm OCD lol and this will bother the heck out of me, cause I do notice it when I walk back and look at the rear! Should I get it checked out at the dealer? They actually did the install. Like nothing should have changed in the rear right?, just freakin swapped the factory blocks for the 3" ers. And like I said the front sits perfect so it can't be throwing the rear off. And yes I have had the front alignment done.

Like i know every corner will be different nothing's perfect. 1/4"-1/2" is acceptable and I can live with it but a full inch seems not right. Both rears by my calc should be about 41.25 after the the block swap compared to my stock measurements. But like I said 42 dr and 41 pr when there isn't any weight on that side for the typical Chevy lean seems wrong and gunna drive me crazy lol. Also, I went to the dealer earlier and measured about 7 new trucks and they all sit perfectly level side to side in the rear. So wtf? I have to bring the truck back in a couple weeks to check over the bolts and stuff so I'll get them to check this out I guess. But what else could it be cause it'd suck to have to deal with a truck that's sitting not even in the rear.

Yeah, but it's higher on the gas tank(drivers side), tank is 3/4 full. Still higher on drivers, usually this is the lower side. Upon further inspection it looks as if the passenger rear corner when looking from behind on level surface at the tail light corner it looks like it twists down or something at that point. It's pissin me off anyways cause I definitely don't like whatever is going on and looks broke on that side. Looks Like the box is at the lowest point at the rear most passenger corner or something from how I see it. I've had 4 greater than 6" lifted trucks before this one and I've been precarious of the fender measurements and those trucks have all been good and never looked sagging on one side. This truck only has 1700km on it and should no way be out an inch in the rear passenger side. I'm sure the avg joe wouldn't notice but I do, and that's what matters and it Looks fn stupid when approaching towards the rear. Can't stand looking at it

Electric verify the blocks visually to see they are the same size side to side. Know it's not likely but people get hurried, distracted or sloppy and mistakes get made.

Better yet measure blocks.

Hey thanks, yep one of the first things I did was put them side by side and they are perfect in height and width and taper.

I suggest ignoring the discrepancy for awhile. Deal with it when you take it back in a couple of weeks. My suspension is stock but when my truck was new I repeatedly measured a 1" difference from side to side at the back. Like you, it annoyed me tremendously. My dealer was very good about addressing my concerns but every time I measured while on the shop floor both sides were even! Drive it for awhile and check the height while parked at various locations. You might find that there is nothing wrong with your truck!

My truck when new sat high passenger side. Had it up on the lift at dealer, didn't see anything. With truck on the ground, I crawled underneath, loosened front leaf srping bolts and shackle bolts and jumped on it a few times, settled right out.

Uneven height aside, with the 2.5" front and 2" blocks rear, it was level front to rear? Or did it still have some rake? Mine has 1" front end lift, stock rear with 32" tire (275/65-18), sits at 37.5" front, 39-1/8 (+/-) rear. So roughly 1.5" rake. I'd like to raise the truck another 1" all around. Stock rear blocks are about 1-1/8" to 1-1/4"?. Swap to 2" rear blocks will probably only net about 3/4" lift over stock or so I'd think.

Good idea man I know it just seems that way lol. I'll definitely drive er and bring it up when I bring it into the dealer in a couple weeks! Thanks for the food for thought

Electric Rocker [not to get off topic, but I'm gonna assume you're a musician with that tag (keys & bass here)]. Back on topic, your 39" rear measurement was stock with stock tires?, that's right in line with the 39" I got. Front at 39.5" with the 2.5" kit installed makes sense also to a point. Tire pressure plays in obviously, I really only want to go up 1" more all around, so looks like just the front bottom spacer and the block that comes with the kit would work and still provide about 1.5" rake.

Haha close man. I'm an electrician and I own a Harley rocker. Hence electricrocker lol. Yeah 39.5 rear stock. These troops cos are deceiving. Yes I'd have still had about a 3/4" of rake had I went with the 2" block but they still look nose high. I wanted the 3" because I put my atv in the back and tow. Don't like a saggy ass. Sits just like factory now minus 1.25" inches of rake. Still has rake and looks perfect imo.

I'm with you on the saggy ass - I don't like the true level or nose high look either.
