Today was a pretty bad day! Fire hydrant was too short for my younger brother that was driving my truck and smashed both doors! Luckily insurance will cover the 6k to bring it back to how it was! Even though new doors will be placed I will know that those were not the original doors. Oh well shit happens but I was pissseeeddd! Sorry just needed to vent out today as my first post here in this community with my injured 14 all terrain. I will post a pic after the injury!

That sucks. $hit happens. Could have been worse. Research some good body shops.

That's true bro it could have been worse luckily it wasn't and no one got hurt! That what I'm doing right now getting quotes from different shops I'm getting recommended from

That is no where near 6k in damage. If the insurance company cuts you that check for 6k, put it in the bank and spend 2k on the repair. The other 4k goes towards wrecked truck rehab...specifically hookers and alcohol.

All Terrain is your truck Summit White or White Diamond Tricoat its tough to tell from pictures. Just pick a great body shop and make sure they match the color and don't leave sanding scratches. Talk with the manager beforehand and let them know you are anal about the truck and expect a top notch repair. Follow OJ's advice and get dumb A little brother to pay insurance deductible and hookers/strippers/escorts plus the booze.

Wow......how the hell does something like that happen?

First I don't lend out my vehicles that's what rental cars are for. Second that's looks like the vehicle was moving forward, no excuses there just careless. Third he was driving too fast.

Looks like someone not used to driving a long vehicle and didn't swing wide while turning into the space.

To hit that far forward on the door, there was no way he was getting the truck into the stall either. (The rear tire would end up on the curb at best) I would never even consider letting someone like that drive my truck.

I'm not disagreeing. I don't even let my wife drive my truck.

When pulling into a parking lot a person should be moving slowly and have the left foot close to the brake. Once you feel any bump or curb you should be able to stop. That's a lot of damage for a parking lot.

passenger side mirror angle down in reverse would have solved that

I like how he made contact with the hydrant but instead of stopping just powered through it
