Hi Everyone, I am in the market to install a soft cover on the 1500 crew. In the past i have had the access cover and liked it. I was looking at my options and i noticed the revolver x2. Anyone have input on what one to get? I looked at the revolver x2 on a raptor today and it looks like a quality cover.

They're going to refer you to the 100 page tonneau cover thread.

But I would say if you liked the Access cover in the past, go with that one again.

Access looks a lot like the truxedo lo-pro that I have.

But, yeah, tonneau covers are just like opinions and a**holes.

Everybody has one. Just go with whatever you like.

I have it and think it's great, would be easy to break in to. Out of sight, out of mind. Had it for a year in the Florida sun and still looks new. I use 303 aerospace protectant on it.

If I had to buy again today, I'd install another X2. Have no issues with it and it performs as advertised.

I don't have a tonneau cover :dunno:

I have the X2 and I'm very happy with it. Happier than I am when I used to have a bakflip f1 in my old truck.

X2 owner here. Would Def buy again. Super easy to install and got a great rebate offer from Bak so soon I'm getting an husky underseat organizer shipped to me free!

just moved the roll X from 2015 Denali to the new 2017 Denali... never any problems, but installed this time with some silicone RTV across the front rail under gasket and NO water at

all... I used to get a few drops on each side in the 2015...nothing too bad... but appears so far to be tight and no leaks

I just traded my 2011 Sierra for a 2016 Sierra and am looking for a new tonneau. I had an Access Lorado on my 2011 and it was great except when I accidentally put a small hole in the vinyl a few years ago. I was able to patch it up but I like the idea of the Revolver X2 since it is a low profile, hard cover that still rolls up out of the way. A couple quick questions if anyone might know the answer. First, is this the same cover I see on the GM Accessories website made by Rev? Looks like it but just curious. Also, since it is basically a hard cover, do you get any vibration noise from the back going down the road? Finally, do they sell a tailgate seal kit or what do you guys recommend for that because there is quite a gap in the upper corners of the tailgate.

This cover is about twice as expensive as the Access cover but if it works as advertised I think it might be worth it. Thanks.
