eBay Subwoofer Package Any good?

I'm wanting more bass in my truck. I've got a double cab which puts me behind the 8 ball on fitting a sub. I've heard the kicker isn't that great which has lead me to this eBay set up. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Input from anyone that has done a sub in a double cab would be great. Thanks guys.

Ask him how much cubic feet that box has. Match that up with the sub specs. Most of those single boxes are too small for the sub. It will sound like poop. I will be building a full length ported box for a single 12" with around 1.3cf in the near future.

I had his double cab setup and it was great, took the sub box out when i traded in my 2014 silverado, mine was the 12" cvx in a sealed enclosure for the double cab.

 

still have the sub/subbox , can't use it in my crew cab.

To be honest a kicker sub can be put in any size box. But I am just not a fan

That is what I am doing. Have started but wont finish for a few more days. I already built a decent sealed box for 1 shallow 12" but I want to try the full length ported enclosure too.

I thought about that box or one similar. from ebay but ultimately decided to build my own box.
