Rear Sliding Window

@Csjumper2003

I'd be very curious what option truck you're staring with (I have an LT1) and what was in place.

  1. What is the part number of the fuse block you installed?
  2. Were the wires between the driver's fuse block and the plug for the over head console in place?
  3. Were the wires that go from the overhead console plug to the instrument panel in place?
  4. Where the wires that went from the instrument panel to the rh fuse box in place?
  5. Were the wires that went from the rh fuse box to the <motor location> in place?

I can't imagine #5 was present. If not... did you simply have to add those two wires from the fuse block back to the motor location? Pictures would be awesome.

I just swapped out my overhead console for one with HomeLink and it also had the rear window button. A button that does nothing is not sitting well with me. I'm just glad I didn't buy a console with the sunroof buttons, too.

I would like more information on the wiring to the oem switch. I am planning on doing this and was going to wire it to the oem switch myself.

I've thought about it but I rarely use that mirror, my first car didn't have one so I got in the habit of only using my side mirrors

Will do. It might be awhile before I get to that the 2014 is nearing time for a new engine. I'm saving up for a l8t swap.
