Anyone have any experience with the GoodYear Wrangler Duratracs? Thinking 275/70/18 or a 295/65/18. Saw the 295/65/18 on a 2500HD yesterday... Looked like a perfect size.

I love them. I used to run BFG All terrains but had an issue years ago with a set of those not holding the weights on the rim ( long story) tried a set of nitto terra grapplers and they were horrible in both wear and performance in mud. Decided to try the duratracs. Have had them ever since. Great in mud, good in winter and last about 70,000 km on a 3/4 ton or half ton (with some trailer pulling and hauling)

They are a little louder than other AT tires ( you will hear them in the cab a little) because they are very aggressive for an AT. But nothing like the noise from a mud tire.

I have 295/65/18's on aftermarket rims with 20mm offset. Any bigger would rub for sure but these just fit with the thin plastic mud flaps from GM.

I have tried to post pics but they are always too big :(

download paint.net, it's a free photo editing software. Import your pictures and you can change the size, etc. And when you save it, you will see the new size of the picture.

I do that when ever I need to upload a picture to my post here due to file size restrictions.

Awesome tire. I had them put on when I moved to a very snowy area with a two wheel drive and they worked great. I've since switched to a full mud terrain but those were great tires.

I have them on my new 1500 midnight. They ride great. I don't find them loud at all.543d259a78e75124d1adaef546eca19d.jpg
