Fox 2.5 CO's with Cognito UCA installed

Recommended Posts

Finally got my Fox 2.5's installed with the Cognito UCA on my 2016 sierra 1500. Truck rides so much better than it did with the RC leveling kit. Its sitting right at 2.5 inches of lift. I will get better pictures tomorrow. I can't recommend Chas @MRTmotorsports enough for hooking me up with the Fox and Cognito products! He answered every one of my questions quickly and professionally and i really appreciate it. Also, his prices were the best in the business and it wasn't even close.

the set up looks great! How much did you have to adjust the coilovers to get 2.5" of lift? Chas was saying that out of the box to expect 2" of lift.

funny you ask, went back and measured and yes it is actually at 2 inches of lift not 2.5. getting new tires today and will post a pic

You were completely correct! It's a night a day difference from the bilstein 5100's. There is no jarring or thumping over big bumps or rocks on the job site and speed bumps feel like little pebbles now.

The Fox coilovers will ride much better and handle better than the 5100's. Anything 2-2.5" and above will give you some harsh angles and the top ball joints won't last long. That's why some guys get these Dirt Logic arms and Cognito. They have a uniball design instead of the typical balljoint.

5100 = street driven with occasional offroad

Fox coilovers = offroad quite a bit

what size T/A's are you running with that set up.

thanks

Right now I'm running the same size tire that I had with the Bilstein 5100's. They are 285/70-17 on 17x8.5 wheels with 4.75bs.
