How "perfect" should tint be?

They told me 72 hours. The first time it was done I went out of town for a week, left my truck home, this time, I waited until day 4 to roll them down.

I would have someone else do it then. I had a place here in town that does regular mechanic stuff and also aftermarket stuff and they do tint pretty much everyday. When I had my then '14 done they only charged $100 for the front 2 windows to match the rears and a windshield brow at 5%. Never had a problem with the tint and I don't think they even used high end tint, like the stuff that can block UV and all that.

Clearly they're just not cleaning the windows like you should.

Tint is not that expensive - go to a reputable shop and have it redone on your own dime.

I have ceramic and crystaline. Both are very expensive and crystaline is even more so. I wouldnt settle for any creases. Now very small bubbles will usually go away from drying.

Talked to a local tint shop today. They have a 5/5 rating with over 150 reviews....said they'd just charge me for the tint, won't charge me for stripping it due to my past experience, and said they'd rather do it instead of ziebart to make sure they get all the glue off. Hopefully I have better luck with them than ziebart. Pretty bummed it's coming out of my pocket now though instead of the dealerships.

They assured me it would NOT look like it does now. Guess we'll see. When I take my truck back to the dealership next week for an unrelated service, I'll be sure to mention my bad fortune with ziebart, however I doubt it will amount to anything.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease. I'd make them pay for it. They offered it, and it's on them to make it right.

The installer creased the film when he was attempting to position it. That is not coming off in a week, month, year or lifetime for that matter. Have them remove and redo the tint. Good luck.??

One guy has done every vehicle me and my wife have ever owned and it's always been perfect. The first week you can see some bubbles but they always go away. Never took a vehicle back to him.
