New Member Introduction

New member to the forum here ...

I'm an owner of a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT, DCSB, 4x4, 5.3L, Tungsten Metallic. I've owned multiple GM trucks over the years and I've always enjoyed them over the other guys. One aspect I've loved about these trucks is the large modding community and the fact that you can do so much custom work. I've yet to do any modifications to my truck and I've been creeping on this forum lately trying to get some ideas. I've decided that having a forum account will give me the ability to ask the questions that I've been hoping to get answered and participate in the discussions.

My current interest is to replace my stock DL8 mirrors with some towing mirrors. I've been reading up on and following the forum user pgamboa and all his research and work on upgrading from DL8 to DL3 mirrors. I'm super excited to use his instructional posts to perform the upgrade myself and give my truck the much needed upgrade. Once finished, I imagine I will start looking into some other interesting mods such as CAI, exhaust, leveling kits, etc.
