I saw a 2017 duramax today with the hood scoop in the middle of the front and I was just wondering if anyone has taken a 2500 hood and put it on a 1500. my 1500 is a 2015 and I would love to put this hood on it if it just bolts on. thanks for the help Jamie. heres a pic of the hood.2017-GMC-Sierra-Denali-2500HD-exterior-0

Sure but you have to do an HD front swap for the hood to fit (hood, grille, bumper etc.). Will not fit without doing the HD swap.

Not true for gmc.. for chevy maybe.

The front end of a Chevy Silverado and Chevy Silverado HD are the same. So the hoods should interchange.

The Chevys are different or I would have done this already.

The GMC hood works, there was a thread on here a guy did it .

It cost $882 for parts.
