Awesome, where are you heading?

That is the exact same TT we have. We love ours - how do you like yours?

What kind of gas mileage do you get? I get 12 MPG towing with the 2016 Yukon 6.2, and 10 MPG towing with the 2011 Silverado 5.3.

Used 2016. Jayco 17z about 18 ft closed. Picked up in Ohio.

Havent left yet going to Maryland. Going to reset the mpg meter when we gas up. The truck only has 153 miles on it.

Just a cautionary note. The manual states you should not tow a trailer during the breakin period (first 500 miles).

  Thanks for the reply. Im not sure what you mean by the hype Nate puts out. I dont really know much about either trans. I do hear more about the 10 speed transmission having issues but im sure it's only a small % of them that are manufactured. I have heard that the 10 keeps you in the power curve more with less Rpm drop. My stepfather has a 10 speed in his 1/2 ton and im not crazy about the way it shifts and he has started experiencing shudder at 100k.
