Glad your ok. Another reason not to modify too much with what insurance won't cover. Bet your thankful that your truck was built tough. Had it been a Prius...

Insurance actually added all my mods into the settlement value so I was pretty happy. I just had it leveled with 34's, exhaust, black bear tune and air bags, it was dialed in perfect for my needs.... Im going to go curl up in a ball now haha

Sorry about the accident and I'm happy no one was hurt. Sounds like you have opportunities and choices! One thing that occurred to me was the size and load of your trailer. If you frequently haul heavy loads maybe include 3/4 tons in your search. I've only owned one 3/4 ton GMC. It was a little rough for daily driving but it handled heavy loads much more confidently than my 1/2 tons.

Yeah I defiantly agree, once i lost control i got pushed around like a rag doll. I m going to retire from heavy loads like that from now on, drove the F250 and HD's and love them but they are just way to much truck for us, especially since we used it as a daily driver.

Soooooo..... any chance in getting those wheels :) lol... oh yea glad you're ok and sorry about your accident.

Hahaha probably one of the nicest stock rims on a truck I've seen in a while! they were wrapped with 275/65r20 (34's) Nitto Ridge grapplers with less than 1500 miles on them! amazing tires.

Did you have working trailer brakes?

I do and my truck had the controller all dialed in. trailer was beat up but was repaired with no significant damage. All the weight was too much to control once it started fish tailing on me.

Yeah, I'll have to see. I may get into a 17 snd trade up if i feel i need the 19. My dad has a 16 Denali and I know he cant wait for me to get my own truck again haha, using his a lot ever since the accident.

The killer in this whole story is that I had a dash cam on order from amazon. came the next day!

Oh no! That reminds me I need to set up my dash cam. Had a guy today decide that he was going to try to pass me and then cut me off by my running down the bike lane. He was in a Nissan type sedan. Really? a mid-sized sedan challenging a 2500 that has the right of way? His brain must be very small.

Glad your ok but sucks you lost the truck. Check out dark slate metallic (new for GMC 2017). It's what I ended up getting and pictures do not do the color justice.
