My Chevrolet App on Apple Watch

Saw a post on Facebook last night. I have the My Chevrolet app on my iPhone, but never realized you could have it on your Apple Watch. Took a little to get it working but, I can start, stop, unlock and lock my Silverado from my watch. Takes about 5 seconds for the command to come thru. Then you get a notification on the watch the your truck is locked or whatever.

That's handy. My birthday present Apple Watch has been gathering dust since ski season and the lady is not happy about it. Now I might use it more

Do you have to have any special plan with onstar to be able to use this feature? If not how do you get everything to sync up correctly? I have the basic onstar that sends me monthly diagnostics and what have you but everytime I go to the app on my watch it says my vehicle requires an active onstar subscription.

Had the same issue. Here is what I did.

1. Delete the app from your watch.

2. Re add the app to your watch from the watch app on your iPhone.

3. Log out of my chevrolet app on iPhone.

4. log back into my chevrolet app.

Just what I did. You could try just logging out and back in first. prob will work.

If only the battery lasted more than 30 hours. I don't care for the steps and exercise tracking, but I like the sleep function which tells you if your tossing and turning. Although I have to take the watch off to charge at night....

My app on my watch worked with my 2011 denali but since I bought my new one it doesn’t work. It makes me put in my pin on my phone before it will work on my watch. Why and how do I fix it?
